Donald Joseph Qualls better known by his screen name DJ Qualls was born in America. DJ Qualls is a fashion model, actor and producer. His fame was sparked by his performance as a character in Road Trip. Since then his appearances have been featured in twenty feature films, such for The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. The actor has also been featured in more than 22 shows on television such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. He is a Hodgkin's cancer survivor, which he was diagnosed with at the age of 14. Qualls is a fighter. The cancer had gone into remission after two years. The treatment was so early that it had a significant affect on the body and stunted his growth. After he started expressing his desire for as if financial security was his ultimate goal as he had seen poverty throughout his life. He stated "I've had a very low-cost lifestyle for so long that I'm looking for financial security because otherwise things will get out of hand to me." Also, he reflects on his own childhood to see what he can do about bullies. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. The perfect role for DJ is that of a real-life father. He does however admit that directors do not usually choose me for those types of jobs. He'd love to become father one day to be able to devote more time with the children and be less focused on his job.
