Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz professionally known as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after the town she grew up in. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's parents are both Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. Ryder's family moved from Mendocino County to California at the age of seven years old. There was no electricity. There was no television books was her only source of entertainment to pass the time. Eventually, she became an avid reader. Ryder began taking classes in acting at the American Conservatory Theatre when she was 12 years old. Lucas the film, which was released in 1986, was her first major role. Ryder was only 15 at the time she was cast. Ryder endured bullying while in highschool. Her hope was that acting might change the situation. However, it didn't take place. But she pushed on with her dreams. Beetlejuice the 1988 Tim Burton film, was her debut big breakthrough. Ryder was a star in various films. In 1993 she won an Oscar Prize to be awarded for The Age of Innocence.
